Back in Austin

I finally got back into my apartment on Friday. I still need to tidy it up before it's picture ready, but here's what the patio looks like so far.

I just planted some lettuce, radishes, and beans from seed and I dug up and potted the jalapenos, bell peppers, eggplant and Russian heirloom tomato. I'm going to sew a little cushion for the seat and put up bunting or lights or something outside to make it cute.


I found a hibiscus for $3 and it's starting to bloom! There are three or four buds on it right now. I thought it was yellow :(


Keeping the eggplant company. My mom shipped him down from New Hampshire for me. I thought she was crazy for spending over 10 bucks just to ship garden gnomes and squirrels to me, but I love them.
