I was supposed to upload pictures from the trip from Austin to San Diego but I've been making lots of French macarons lately and I'm just too excited about them to not share. Some of you might know that before I got my degree in psychology I went to school for baking. I enjoyed it, I was good at it, but I wanted to see what else I could do so I gave it up and went in the opposite direction.

Well, wouldn't you know, I'm back to baking. I'm currently working on opening up a small bakery to sell at the local farmer's market. I've been testing out different French macaron recipes the past few days and I'm starting to move on to cake recipes, so I'm sure there will be plenty of cupcake pictures coming up in the future. These are beautiful! It's sooo exciting that you're working on a bakery. :) I have a friend who started selling cookies at a couple of different farmers markets 2 or so years ago, and she's been able to get her desserts into several restaurants and is looking for retail space now.
